About the Role

Our applications team works on evaluating and optimising our proteins for various food applications and provides high degree of NPD support to our customers. We are looking for a motivated food technologist with experience of developing plant-based applications. You would be responsible for designing and conducting trials for developing applications and formulations, managing projects, assisting Senior Manager Applications and Developments and participating in cross-functional planning and projects.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensuring customer success and promoting Proeon’s products through applications development.
  • Develop new formulations for applications in plant-based dairy, plant-based egg, good-for-you and healthy snacks, protein supplements/drinks, plant-based meat, etc. using Proeon’s product portfolio.
  • Design and conduct trials, maintain documentation & troubleshoot.
  • Create reports, present data to internal team and assist in customer feedback and trials.
  • Project planning & execution of tasks within stipulated deadlines, product line extension, cost optimization trials.
  • Building and managing raw material portfolio across application categories through vendor development.
  • Go to market application initiatives through innovation pipeline.
  • Co-ordination with cross functional team for smooth functioning of projects.

Requirements:

Education Qualification: B. Tech/ M. Tech in Food Technology from reputed institute/university.

Experience: 2- 4 Years of relevant experience in plant-based food product development specifically in plant-based Dairy (milk, cheese, etc.) Plant based egg replacements, Protein rich snacks/supplements, Protein bars etc.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in project management and project ownership across the life cycle of a project, from conception to completion.
  • Positive attitude & proactive approach with a drive toward meeting and exceeding target.
  • High level of proficiency with MS office, lab data management systems etc.
