Our Story

Kevin and Ashish came together due to their shared passion for solving the pressing challenges of today to pave the way for a better tomorrow. Having worked in the natural products industry collectively for more than 20+ years, they saw an incredible opportunity in creating clean, high-quality and sustainable food ingredients. Their vision is – to enable healthier eating, conscious consumption, and cruelty-free food practices for long-term impact. With this vision , they founded Proeon in 2018.

Our leadership

Kevin and Ashish, were always passionate about solving problems that make a difference. Having worked in natural products industry and with more than 20+ years of combined experience in this space, they saw the opportunity in creating clean, high quality and sustainable food ingredients, which can make long term impact on people and planet. With this vision, Proeon was born in 2018.

Ashish Korde

An alumnus of ISB, Hyderabad and BITS, Pilani, Ashish has over 15 years of experience across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food and beverage industries in international business development, strategy and product development.

He is passionate about building sustainable solutions in food and agriculture and strongly believes in the huge potential of building businesses which are good for consumers, producers and environment.

Outside of office, Ashish enjoys reading, spending time with his family, building Lego masterpieces, reading inspiring bedtime stories to his children and cooking up a sumptuous weekend meal.

Kevin Parekh

Kevin has a techno-commercial background with a Master’s degree in Management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) and M.Sc. in Biotechnology. He has an extensive experience in innovation, supply chain setup and new product development in industries like food, beverage and nutraceutical ingredients.

His passion lies in connecting seemingly unrelated dots across sectors to create solutions that make ingredients and food products more joyful and healthy.

Outside of work, Kevin is an avid reader and quizzer and loves watching, analyzing and discussing cinema.
